Anchored In Truth
Website Redesign
Grow supporter base, tell the story, teach & equip.
Anchored in Truth is a ministry who’s desire is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached to the ends of the earth by means of planting docrinally sound churches, and supporting pastors and missionaries around the world.
They accomplish this through a personalized, strategic approach. Their website would become the hub for the “personalized” aspect of their mission. They want their supporters to know and be involved in praying for those they support through regular updates. Their site’s content also needed to be searchable so that pastors could continue to be equipped through sermons and articles.
Anchored in Truth was not getting many donations through their website and relied heavily on one event during the year (The True Church Conference). This made it difficult for people who did want to support the mission of Anchored In Truth to actually donate if they were not able to make it to the conference.
A change in story:
In order to grow their supporter base and make the experience with the organization more personalized we had to tell a story which leads to a desired action. In this case, we want them to support (whether financially, through prayers, or short term missions). The old website failed to tell people the story of people effected by the ministry, and what supporters money is accomplishing. Hopefully, seeing these wireframes will help you understand more.
Reorganization of information:
In order to grow their supporter base and make the experience with the organization more personalized we had to tell a story which leads to a desired action. The Learning Center:
Teaching and equipping pastors, missionaries, and church plants is one of the primary functions of Anchored in Truth. Because of this their podcast, article, and sermon content needed to be organized. This organizing of content not only had to be organized from a visual front-end perspective but also needed to be organized from the back-end of the website to be searchable and browsable.
