Inform and inspire
I had the privilege of working with these fine people who are leading the way on breast exam options other than mammograms. They provide a touch free, radiation free exam for young and old that has a 95% accuracy in detecting breast cancer. Crazy right?
Because of the scientific support of their exam they needed a website that would inform and inspire women to be proactive in their breast exams.
Successful websites start with an objective strategy
It is one things to tell people what you do, but it is another to show people what you do. In other words, you need to know who your demographic is and how they currently feel and how they want to feel. If you change the way people feel, you can change the way they act and react to your organization.
Fonts, colors, and textures
This specific style portrays health and trust. The font used is a sans serif font called Raleway, its character is rounded, and flowing making it an idea type that is pleasant to look at, and read. But most of all it seems futuristic and new. The header serif font gives the sense of trust. It has a history of being the ideal type for books. So the font naturally feels studied, trustworthy, and authoritative. It’s history portrays the idea of longevity.
